About this winery
The Domaine Hamelin was founded in the 1840s by Gustave Hamelin. Today, Thierry and his son Charles perpetuate the family wine tradition. The know-how transmitted from generation to generation is a mix of ancient traditions and modern techniques. The domain focuses on Chablis wines that perfectly represent their terroirs. The Domaine Hamelin has been awarded many times and offers outstanding wines of exceptional quality from very old vines.

Production notes
This wine was made from grapes grown on steep, south facing slopes planted over 40 years ago. The Kimmeridgian subsoil allows typicity of character expected from a fine Chablis Premier Cru. Aged for 12-18 months in stainless steel vats prior to bottling. Ready to drink now but the favourable levels of acidity allow for further maturation.
Tasting notes
Pale golden yellow with a hint of green. Floral aromas of acacia and hawthorn linger on the palate for a medium bodied, lush finish with a velvety mouthfeel.
